Summer Temporary Position as Rehabilitation Assistant
Are you studying to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist and looking for a meaningful summer job? As a rehabilitation assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with licensed staff and contribute to people's rehabilitation. Take the chance to make a difference this summer and gain valuable experience!
About the Workplace
We are now looking for rehabilitation assistants for summer temporary positions in several of our operations. The need exists in our nursing homes, in our short-term unit, in the habilitation team, and in home healthcare. With us, you will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.
The work takes place on weekdays and during daytime at all workplaces.
What We Offer
For us, it is important to start our collaboration in a good way, and therefore you will receive a thorough introduction. You will also undergo certain training. You will work in a team and in close collaboration with occupational therapists and physiotherapists, and will also cooperate with nurses and other care staff.
We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal development. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As an employee, you will receive a wellness allowance of 250 SEK per worked month.
Job Responsibilities
As a rehabilitation assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed physiotherapist or occupational therapist. This may involve tasks such as assisting with personal care training (P-ADL), training in living environment activities (I-ADL), mobility training, rehabilitation after fractures and plastic surgery, circulation-promoting measures, hand training, breathing exercises, contracture prophylaxis, and assisting with assessments, follow-ups, and trials of aids, among other things. Licensed staff will handle all assessments and will be available for daily supervision.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has studied at least four semesters to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist. A B driver's license is required for work in home healthcare, and for work in the short-term unit and nursing home, it is an advantage. In home healthcare, you need to be able to cycle and be comfortable navigating in a busy environment.
Your Personal Qualities are Important to Us
We place great importance on good collaboration skills, a pedagogical approach, and flexibility.
